Wow, 5 months pregnant!

Where has the last 5 months gone? It seems like only yesterday we were trying desperately to have another baby!! Now I am over 1/2 way done! Insane!! Zachary turns 3 in 2 months so I figured I would find time to come blog about my little monkey's newest happenings!

He loves TRAINS, BOOKS, TOY STORY THE MOVIE (which he fondly refers to simply as TOYS!) and the PARK! This morning while I was getting dressed I could hear him playing with his train set and singing "go thomas..go go go chuckachucka choo choo...go thomas go"! It was adorable. He also is starting to use more sentences now, which is FANTASTIC because it makes understanding him all that much easier. He got his buzz cut at Gramma's on Monday, and looks adorable.. I had a ziploc baggie filled with hair. That kid grows hair faster than I grow baby! We had buzzzzzzzzed it off in May..and it already grew enough to buzz it completely off again!

Oh and we had our ultrasound on August 20th...the baby is breach and wouldn't show us complete parts..but I was given a 70% chance it is a girl.. I dont buy that for a second tho, because I was given 80% chance Zach was a girl. So our 3D Ultrasound http://www.uc-baby.com/en/locations/index.php is on September 12th..so hopefully we will find out for 100% sure then. This UC baby is an amazing company, and we cant wait to see our lil peanut!

Its definately summer here!

WOWZA ITS HOT OUT THERE!!! Our temperatures have been extremly high for our area...making it uncomfortable, and sticky. We dont have the luxury of central air conditioning, and right now, lemme tell ya, I wish we had it!! Especially for Monkey to sleep..and for preggo mommy to sleep too!! Luckily, Ian installed a window a/c unit in our bedroom, and we got some great fans..so its helping......a BIT! LOL! Zachary is seriously starting to understand that a baby is coming, and its kind of cute, because he gets kinda jealous! In an adorable 2 1/2 year old way. MY MUMMY..is a phrase I hear a lot lately! hahah!! And when my MIL holds my niece Aurora (who is only 7 weeks old) he gets insane jealous, and tries to sit in Gamma's lap too! Its cute, and giving us some idea of what is to come once Peanut arrives!

Some new stuff~

As this week is half over, I am in my 16th week of pregnancy. Zachary and I have been doing swimming lessons every day for the last 2 weeks, and they conclude this Friday. We will definately miss them, as it has become a routine to go "simming" every day! I am proud of my little guy, he is learning the potty FINALLY telling me, when he has to go..and actually going! It's great! I think we will be diaper free by the time he is 3, at this rate! He cannot wear pullups due to an allergic reaction, whcih is why he has remained in diapers for "accidents". I am also very busy making cards lately...seems that as soon as one is complete, another order comes in! AWESOMENESS! My best friend from high school, Aimee, announced she is expecting today.. I find it so cool we are due within 2 days of each other! How freaking awesome! Too bad we live so far apart, it would have been fun to go thru it together and closer! Life and times...going too fast!

So yesterday, I woke up to find the boys had made plans without me!! SOB** haha...well they wanted to give me a day of rest, since this pregnancy has been kinda tough on me. So around 11am they disappeared with Gampa Thompson to the Renoylds Museum in Wetaskawin (about 45 mins away!)...and I set in for a day of doing nothing. Actually, in my head, I figured I would do dishes, laundry..you know the stuff that normally gets put off til your lil' one is in bed? Well I did just what Ian wanted me to do, I relaxed. I polished off a book by Candice Bushnell, 5th Avenue..a light and fluffy type of read.. I ate a bowl of soup without having to worry about Zachary jumping on me, and me spilling it everywhere.. I slept.. haha.. I did nothing. I wanted to scrapbook, I wanted to do laundry, I wanted to do dishes.. but alas they did not get done! They did today however, when another surprise was amongst my midst. Laying on the couch after a late breakfast with Zachary and Ian, our phone rang... it was my dear friends James and Karen... alerting us that their presence would be at our house in approx. 2 hours, to kidnap our child, and give us a day of rest! WOW! What a treat..2 days in a row without Zach.. I got all my dishes and laundry done.. I had a liesurely shower, and now am getting ready to go out for a nice meal with some college girlfriends, that I have been friends with for 11 years now! I feel so spoiled this weekend!

Zachs 30 month pictures!

ok so we were late doing 2...so we went for 2 1/2..30 months! here they are!! He did so well smiling and laughing. I am now 14 weeks pregnant and my bedrest sentence has been lifted!! YAHOO!! So great to be able to get out of bed and DO things! It came at the perfect time too, as I start swimming lessons (already paid for!) with Zachary on July 14th! Oh and Ian and I just celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary! WOOT WOOT!! Thanks to JuJu for the sweet message and remembering! :)

Update..sorry been so long

I have been stuck on bedrest the last few days...and I havent had time to even do that...plus we were in British Columbia visiting my parents for 10 days and that consumed some time as well.

As of today I am 3 months and 3 days pregnant.. we had a bit of a scare but things are on track again.

Zach is busy busy busy these days...and we recently signed up for swimming lessons starting in July which we are thrilled for.

How we come to a buzz cut...lol

So my child has craft scissors, that are so blunt that they won't even cut paper...so how does he find a way to cut his own hair to the scalp is beyond me. Needless to say we had to buzz it all off to make it even..lol.. we were a bit nervous at first, but as these pictures show, it turned out very adorable. His new thing is to be an aiya pane (airplane for those who don't speak Zachary) and I got an action shot of that!! He is our lil' Monkey, and we ask him if he's having a brother..and he said no..and I said how about a sister? And he said sisaa ..so we will see if he is right when we go for our 20 week ultrasound in August.. the kid has a 50/50 shot! LOL

Hey all

Here I am! I am 2 years, 4 months old...my mommy and daddy are going away on a Caribbean vacation and will be gone over Easter this year. It's ok tho, because I will be with my gamma and duka (gramma and grampa)...they are reallly excited... Mommy's been doing her cards a lot lately, and Daddy works alot..but I still get to spend a lot of time wiht him which makes me very happy. Mommy makes me laugh a lot..and I LOVE to laugh. My favorite game is me jumping on my bean bag chair and mommy making me into a fajita or taco and I always say FEEEEEESTA (for fiesta!)..and we collapse into fits of giggles. Mommy has lost a lot of weight and looks good, and feels healthier...so I am happy for her. She also has made some new friends, who seem to treat her as good as she deserves to be treated! Anyhow, here are a few new pictures of me!

Well here I sit while watching Sesame Street, my all time fave right now...mommy is afraid of Big Bird, but I always cover her eyes when he comes on. I am talking a lot now, and my fave word to say is BYE...I say bye to everything, bye plane (we live 2 km's from an airport, so I always see planes taking off and landing)bye gamma an duka duka (gramma and grampa), bye place (when i dont know where we are!) bye cah (car)etc...I also love Lightning McQueen from CARS..my whole room is cars, and mommy said that majority of my clothes have CARS on them...I tend to be drawn towards him cos he is wed (red), and wed is my favorite colour!
Winter is still here in full force, so mommy cant take me outside too often, since minus 20 and 40 is too cold for my excema...which by the way is sooooo much better.

Mommas been a bad blogger

And she mainly has been blogging on her crafting blog http://cathscustomcreations.wordpress.com silly Momma....well there are lots of new things that are happening in our world. Momma and daddy booked a holiday for April to the Carribbean, and they are leaving me at home with my grampa n gramma thompson. They deserve it tho. Also I am going to be a cousin...my daddy's sister, my Auntie Lori is having a baby. Her and Uncle Darrick are so excited for their new bundle..and so am I. They nicknamed him/her Cinammon...and I get to meet him or her around June 10th (which ironically is momma and daddy's 4 year anniversary from their first date, and Auntie and Uncle
\'s 14th Wedding anniversary!) I am talking a lot more...one word I say always puts momma into fits of giggles.. just because I pronounce grasshopper ASS HOOPER....well I guess that is kind of funny!! hahahha! I also love to play hide and seek...whether I hide under a blanket or under a cushion..when you find me I have tons of giggles to share as you can see by the below video by clicking the link :)
